About us

After a lot of study (foreign books, internet) and above all, lots of love, and deep interest for Dogue de Bordeaux, we decided to get occupied with this enceptional breed. So the first Dogue that came to our breeding Home was a female bitch which we brought home from abroad, after a lot of patience because we had to wait for seven months until we found the proper mating.

In 1997 Bavette,that's her name, finally came to me after that long waiting which was worth while indeed. The result was rewarding because of the morphology and the character of the Dogue. Bavette is the child of the Int.Ch Bencevary Royal Crown Amadeus and Hu.Ch Chin Udi Ari . In 1997 the breed of Dogue Bordeaux was almost unknown to many people here in Greece, which annoyed me greatly. People used to stop me in the street to ask whether Bavette was a Grest Dane,a Bulldog or whatever else but the breed Dogue de Bordeaux. Anyway, today this has changed and we are proud to have contributed to the recognition of Dogue in Greece.

Bavette has had two matings so far and that will be all of her, because we believe that dogs of that breed should not be mating for more than twice, because it is not good for them. Besides, we are dog breeders and not puppy-producers. Her first mating was with AGA and she gave birth to eight beautiful puppies, two of which have become champions. Her second mating was with Int.Ch Billy Argus,a first class male dog. Eight puppies were born, most of which would have become champions, had their masters shown some interest. But we should remember that not all owners are interested in dog shows.At least all dogs leave a happy life.

They are our big passion and we must admit: we are addicted to them!!!! They and their pups health and happiness is our top priority.

All our dogs live inside the house in their own beds and not in breeding homes as in done abroad, in many similar places. Our dogs are under medical (check up) care every four months and they are all in excellent health and we feel happy too.
